Bug / Snipe



A bug or snipe is a great way to capture an audience because it airs during the programming as opposed to in a commercial break. The most common uses for a bug or snipe are:

  • to augment commercial campaign that might appearing in the same program,
  • to promote a web-site,
  • to be a reminder for a previously run campaign, and
  • to provide information that is part of a larger campaign


A bug/snipe is not recommended to be the only asset used in a campaign.

The standard creative lead-times for a bug/snipe can vary based upon complexity and available assets, but usually delivered within 4-6 weeks.
