Global Edmonton is committed to what matters to our community – we are the station that’s about Edmonton!  Global Edmonton is the television station of choice and the exclusive television partner for Edmonton’s premiere sporting events including the University of Alberta Athletics teams – Golden Bears and Pandas, the Edmonton Eskimos, Edmonton Rush, Edmonton Indy and the Alberta Winter and Summer Games!

Global Edmonton is committed to exposing others to the talents, successes and great achievements of women who have made a difference in Our community. Global’s Woman of Vision is an award-winning program that profiles and inspires women in Edmonton and throughout Alberta. Global Edmonton produces a series of features broadcast the first Monday of each month at 6pm in the News Hour on Global Edmonton.

Global Edmonton proudly sponsors hundreds of charity, multicultural events, and festivals throughout Our City including the International Children’s Festival, Street Performers Festival, MS Bike Tour, Alberta Council of Women’s Shelters, Kids with Cancer, Kids Up Front, A Taste of Edmonton, The Works, Capital Ex, Canadian Finals Rodeo, and North America’s largest FRINGE FESTIVAL. We are especially proud of our long-standing partnership with Crimestoppers producing re-enactments of unsolved crimes vital to the community’s safety for over 25 years.
