Emmy Award-winning journalist Dawna Friesen has been named Global National’s new Anchor & Executive Editor. Born in Winnipeg and establishing her news career in various cities across Canada, Friesen has most recently made a name for herself as NBC News’ London-based correspondent and anchor, having appeared on NBC News, Today and MSNBC.
