Global saw its highest audience levels (Ind 2+) within the past 5 years, increasing its audience 45% versus last Fall. The Fall season offered hit programming like Glee, which rounded out its very first season in a Top 10 position nationally, in Toronto and Vancouver, a HUGE feat for a first year show. Global also continued to supply viewers with hit programming like Survivor, which in its 9th year on air continues to hold onto its Top 5 position across the country. Another Gem in Global’s roster that continued to deliver stellar performance this fall was the doctor duo of House and Lightman. House continued to dominate the rankings this Fall with huge audiences while Lie to Me proved its hit status in its second season landing in the Top 20 nationally and in Toronto while entering into Top 10 status in Vancouver and Calgary. With a strategic mix of fresh new programming and solid proven hits Global is set to take these Fall successes and translate them into growth throughout the Spring.
