A drama inspired by the true story of former Las Vegas Sheriff Ralph Lamb, a fourth generation rancher tasked with bringing order to Las Vegas in the 1960s. Lamb (Dennis Quaid, What to Expect When You’re Expecting) wants to be left in peace to run his ranch, but Las Vegas is starting to intrude on his simple life. Recalling Lamb's command as a military police officer during WWII, the Mayor appeals to Lamb’s sense of duty and asks him to look into the murder of a casino worker. So begins Lamb’s clash with Vincent Savino (Michael Chiklis, The Shield), a ruthless Chicago gangster. Assisting Lamb are his two deputies: his diplomatic brother, Jack (Jason O'Mara, One for the Money) and his charming, but impulsive son, Dixon (Taylor Handley, Battle Los Angeles).
